Armitaj discusses in Kuwait, al-Manama the situation in Iraq

The US under secretary of state Richard Armitaj discussed in Kuwait and Bahrain yesterday the situation in Iraq, the Palestinian- Israeli conflict and political reforms plans in the region.
Armitaj arrived in Kuwait yesterday morning in a visit which lasted only for two hours starting a Gulf tour which led him also to Manama and is due to arrive in Qatar today.
The spokesman for the American embassy in Kuwait, Mark Strouth, said that Armitaj met with the Kuwaiti prime minister Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmad al-Sabah. Armitaj also met in al-Manama with the King of Bahrain Sheikh Hamad Bin Issa al-Khalifa, as explained by the American embassy in Manama.
