Seale criticizes American policy in Iraq
Iraq-USA, Politics, 4/20/2004

British Writer and Journalist Patrick Seale stressed that the Iraqi continued resistance has destroyed the American dreams in making Iraq a state that revolves in the American orbit, as hatred against America increased due to its continued support to the Israeli brutal policy against the unarmed Palestinians.

In an article published Monday in Doha-based 'al-Watan' newspaper, Seale said the American project in Iraq is doomed to failure, pointing out that the U.S. is using the same tactics used by Israel against the Palestinians by sending its tanks to bomb civilian areas in Iraqi cities.

Seale underlined that Washington is not ready to give the U.N. a pivotal role in Iraq and to transfer the authority to the Iraqis, asserting that the true reasons for the war on Iraq are to guarantee the American political and military domination on the world, to control the oil sources in the Gulf region and to ensure the Israeli hegemony on the region.

In another article published in Abu Dhabi-based 'al-Itihad' newspaper, Seale asserted that Israel was able to impose its dictations and conditions on the U.S. through the ominous promise of the American President George W. Bush.

Seale wondered about the losers due to the recent Bush-Blair summit, asserting that they are not only the Arabs and the Palestinians as usual but also the Europeans.

He called on the Arab and Islamic states to take a courageous and brave stances at this critical moment to defend their dignity and lands.
