Arab Parliamentary Union, AL chief, deplore practices against people of Iraq
Iraq, Politics, 4/19/2004

Arab Parliamentary Union on Sunday strongly condemned the practices of the US occupying troops in Iraq and the Israeli occupation practices in Palestine, calling for ending the siege imposed by the occupation on all the Iraqi and Palestinian cities.

In a statement, the Union stressed that even though the occupying troops use the most destructive weapons, it will never be able to oblige the nations to abandon their legitimate rights. It slammed the Israeli continued crimes against Palestinians warning against the deceitful policy of Sharon.

Meanwhile, the Arab League Secretary General Amr Moussa, in Cairo, held Israel responsible for the deteriorating situation in the occupied Palestinian lands as a result of its brutal policy of assassinations.

In statements before leaving for Kuwait, He stressed the Palestinians' right to resist the Israeli occupation till the Palestinians regain their rights in establishing their independent state with Jerusalem its capital.
