Information Minister highlights internal changes evolution

Syria's Information Minister Ahmad al-Hasan has stressed that the status of a country is not determined by the geographic site or the number of its population, nor it is determined only by the scientific progress of the society, stressing that the world status of a country is rather determined by the victorious spirits of her individuals.

In a dialogue organized yesterday evening by the participants in the central symposium of the Revolution Youth Union, the Minister said that the March 8 Revolution and the Correction Movement, led by the late leader Hafez al-Assad, introduce a rare example on the ability of Syria to respond to all the challenges.

The Symposium is entitled: " The Arab Nation And the Middle East Projects" and was held at Theatre of the Youth City.

The Minister pointed out to the march of development and modernization that has been laid down by President Bashar al-Assad in view of the current stage.

He also pointed out to the importance of the role of media to go in line with requirements of this stage and to live up to the aspirations of the people.
