Iraqi resistance group captures one American soldier

One armed group in Iraq announced it holds one American soldier serving within the occupation forces in Iraq. In a TV tape record for the Qatari al-Jazeera group, a spokesman for the group said that the soldier is being treated as a prisoner, according to the Islamic jurisprudence.

The spokesman for the group said that holding the soldier came at the motive to exchange him with the prisoners of the group held by the occupation forces. The American soldier talked introducing himself as " Keith Mathew Martin," surrounded by several gunmen.

One official at the US defense department admitted arresting one of its soldiers in Iraq.
