Syrian - Egyptian universities co-operation agreement signed

Aleppo and Ein Shams Universities on Thursday signed a scientific cooperation accord for the years 2004 and 2006.
Deputy Rectors of the two universities have praised in speeches the strength of historical ties joining Syria and Egypt.
Aleppo University official Mustafa Jatel explained it will contribute in deepening academic links between the two universities, meanwhile, the Egyptian official Mohammed Fahmi stressed the significance of reactivating cooperation between the two insitituions in the education, research and administration domains.
The accord urges to exchange visits between the two academic staffs and presenting lectures as well doing the scientific research.
Ein Shams University is located in Cairo of Egypt while Aleppo University is based in the economic capital of Syria, North Damascus.
