The participants to the First Islamic Forum wound up meeting in Damascus Wednesday with a statement calling on Arab and Moslem clerics and intellectual to concentrate on the civilized aspects of Islam and its work for peace and dialogue among civilizations.

At the end of a three-day Forum titled " Islamic Jurisprudence Between Renovation and Abuse," the participants urged for enhancing fraternity, coordination and moderation to safeguard the Arab Nation from negative ideological cultural effects.
