Arab League condemns US guarantees to Israel

Arab League on Wednesday slammed what has been reported that USA will give "guarantees" to Israel not withdraw to the line of June 4th 1967, during the currently visit of the Israeli Prime Minister Sharon to Washington.
The official Spokesman of the Arab League, Hussam Zaki, said in a statement that such guarantees have no legal basis, it is a big violation of the international laws and conventions.
He added that the legal base of the Arab-Israeli conflict is very clear according to the related international resolutions which call for a complete Israeli withdrawal from all occupied Arab lands to the line of June 4th 1967 and the Palestinian people's right to establish their independent state with Jerusalem as its capital.
