Khaddam receives PLO executive committee chief

Syria's Vice President Abdulhalim Khaddam on Tuesday received the Head of the Political Department in the Palestinian Liberation Organization Farouk al-Qaddoumi on the latest developments in the occupied Palestinian Lands and Iraq and their effect on the Arab situation as a whole.
Both sides stressed the necessity of adopting Arab stances that support the implementation of Arab peace initiative and the end of the Iraqi people's suffering, and to help them overcome their ordeal.
