3 Saudi plants in Egypt to produce ammonia, urea, iron

Egypt's Minister of Foreign Trade Youssef Boutros Ghali said Saudi investments in Egypt will show a marked leap over the coming period especially as two plants to produce ammonia and urea are shortly to be set up with a total production of 3.2 million tons a year, according to an official.
AI-Sharqawi Hefny, the Under-Secretary of Foreign Trade, explained that the plants will be set up by Saudi capital, adding that the ministry is mulling over a Saudi project to produce iron in Egypt at a total cost of $ 140 million.
