Tennis: French Loit wins Morocco's Tennis Grand Prix

Top-seeded Emilie Loit of France won her first career WTA Tour singles title Sunday, beating Ludmila Cervanova of Slovakia 6-2, 6-2 at the $ 100,000 Grand Prix of HRH Lalla Meryem.
Loit also won the doubles championship Saturday, teaming with Marion Bartoli to beat Els Callens of Belgium and Katarina Srebotnik of Slovakia 6-4, 6-2. That was Loit's eighth doubles title.
The Frenchwoman had defeated defending champion Rita Grande of Italy 7-6 (1), 6-3 Saturday in the semifinals.
