Moroccan gharib tops men's road running event rankings

Moroccan Jaouad Gharib has taken over the top spot of the current Men's Road Running Event Rankings with 1327 points in performance score, according to the latest ranking of the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF).
The World marathon Champion finished fourth last March 28 in the semi marathon of Lisbon, timing 59 minutes 56 seconds, a new national record.
Gharib, due to participate in the London marathon this April, is ahead of three Kenyans, namely Martin Lel (1318 points), Michael Rotich (1315 points) and Felix Limo (1305).
