Keftaro confers with UAE clergy

Syria's Grand Mufti, Sheikh Ahmad Keftaro received on Friday Secretary General of Muslim World League, Abdullah Abdul-Muhsen al-Turki, and the UAE Justice and Islamic Affairs Ministry's Assistant Under-Secretary, Hamdan al-Mazrou'e.
Talks during the meeting dealt with the necessity for unifying efforts and stances and investing abilities, and measures for combining ranks in the face of the standing challenges.
He demanded the international organizations and the world public opinion to interfere to stop the aggression against the Iraqi people calling for handing over the authority to the Iraqis.
For his part, al-Turki highly lauded Syria's firm principled stance and her adherence to the national rights.
