Israeli soldiers leave a base on the borders with Lebanon

The Israeli TV yesterday broadcast pictures for a base for the Israeli occupation army on the border with Lebanon deserted by its personnel leaving behind equipments, helmets and secret documents.

The report did not specify the place of the soldiers. The correspondent from inside the base said " they might be sleeping in the basement below." The TV indicated that the tape was filmed yesterday afternoon.

Worthy mentioning that the Israeli army in a state of utmost alert during the Easter, especially after the assassination of the spiritual leader of the Hamas movement Sheikh Ahmad Yassin.

Despite that the Israeli correspondent entered from an open door through a fence and moved freely in the surrounding of the border center and then stepped up to a small hill and mounted a position for fire launching situated in an armored vehicle, a machine gun and anti tanks weapons as well as secret maps. The correspondent also appeared trying to put a military helmet for one of the soldiers.

The report bewildered the Israeli army which issued a statement in which it said " it will investigate the conditions of the incident."
