Washington: occupation cost is USD 4 billion per month

Chief financial official at the US defense department ( the Pentagon) Dove Zakhaeam said yesterday that the cost of the military operations in Iraq is estimated at 4 billion dollars monthly, but this will be decreased drastically this year.

Zakhaeam who will quit his post next week added that the latest lists show that the monthly costs of the war decreased to USD 3.7 billion instead of USD 4 billion, the average cost since the suspension of the basic military operations.
