An agreement to reciprocate Egypt, and Sudan citizens rights signed; freedom to move, live, work and own
Egypt and Sudan yesterday signed an agreement for exchanging rights of the citizens of the two countries. The agreement which was signed in the presence of the Sudanese President Omar Hassan al-Bashir and Muhammad Hosni Mubarak of Egypt allows the citizens of the two countries to move, live and work and own in each of the other's country in the context of what is known the " four freedoms ( the freedom to move, live, work and own.)

On al-Assad's visit to Cairo
Syria's President Bashar al-Assad arrived in Cairo before noon Sunday on a visit to Egypt. He was received at the airport by President Hosni Mubarak, Information Minister Safwat al-Sharif, Foreign Minister Ahmed Maher, Head of the Presidential Office Zakareya Azmi and the Syrian Ambassador in Cairo Youssuf Ahmad and the embassy staff.

Legal measures to prevent sectarian tension in Kuwait
Member of the Kuwaiti Ummah council ( parliament) Nasser al-Sane' announced yesterday after his meeting with the Kuwaiti prime minister Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmad al-Sabah that the Kuwaiti government intends to take firm legal measures with the objective of limiting sectarian tension between the Sunni and the Shiite in Kuwait.

Bloody confrontations in al-Najaf transferred to Baghdad, Basra
Supporters of the Shiite leader Muqtada al-Sader said that American forces broke into the office of al-Sader in al-Sader city in Baghdad. Sheikh Abdul Hadi al-Darraji, the representative of the office in Baghdad, said that two persons were killed at least and other 7 wounded in the confrontations which took place during the breaking in operation.

Egypt's balance of trade deficit decreased between January- November 2003 by 38% to be $ 4371 million compared to $ 7019 million during the same period in 2002. Go

The Economic Committee at the People's Assembly (PA) approved in a meeting yesterday under its Chairman Saeed Al-Alfi several articles of the new draft bill on developing small and micro businesses. The new law grants the small projects temporary licenses until a final one is attained within 30 days.
