Uganda, Eritrea deny attempts to reduce Egypt's quotas of Nile water

The Ugandan Ambassador in Cairo denied media reports on Nile Basin countries' attempt to decrease Egypt's quota of the River Nile water.
He added that the statements of the Ugandan President in this regard were misinterpreted, highlighting Egypt's role in Africa since late President Gamal Abdul Nasser.
On his part, Eritrea's Ambassador in Cairo voiced appreciation of Egypt's keenness to cooperate with the Nile Basin countries for avoiding disputes over the Nile water.
