Al-Jazeera TV office director in Khartoum trial resumed

The director of al-Jazeera TV office in Sudan, Islam Saleh, was brought yesterday before the court in the notification of accusation made against him by the Sudanese national security department, of disseminating false news and defaming the state's reputation. The court listened to certain witnesses and decided to listen to others in a session to be held next Wednesday.

In a statement, Abdul Salaam al-Jazouli, defendant lawyer for Islam saleh said that the two witnesses who were brought for testimony yesterday denied accusations addressed to the director of al-Jazeera office.
