Role of Kuwaiti companies in supporting Syria's economy highlighted

Minister of Transport Makram Obeid praised the role of Kuwaiti companies in supporting the Syrian economy, asserting that Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development KFAE is the biggest contributor in funding the Syrian communication network.

In an interview given to Kuwaiti al-Anbaa newspaper published on Saturday, Obeid called for participation in the projects that Syria intends to put forward to Arab, Foreign and local private sectors.

He talked about agreements that Syria signed with Turkey and Iraq to develop transport, asserting that Syria will develop her plans in this domain within the framework of development and modernization process under the leadership of President Bashar al-Assad.
