Human rights council to take immediate measures to solve citizens complaints

Egypt's National Council for Human rights is to take immediate and effective measures to investigate around 500 complaints filed by citizens.

Counsellor Samia Abdul Ghani, member of the Complaints and Social Rights Committees of the Council said that the complaints were classified, noting that the Council Committees will exert strenuous efforts with the parties concerned to solve them.

On his part, Hafez Abu Seada, Secretary of the Complaints committee said that the committee will study the complaints before referring them to the parties concerned in addition to probing the issues of prisoners and detainees.

He added that the council will cooperate with the Non- Governmental Organizations for enhancing human rights in Egypt.
