Syria: Governmental plans for ensuring prosperity of al-Jazeera area

The Syrian government has started a new policy to develop the northern east area of Syria in light of a plan to avoid negligence the area had suffered for several decades.

This is following the acts of riots that took place there and the government's blaming of "penetrating elements."

Well-informed sources said that the chairman of the state planning commission, Abdullah al-Dardari, will hold a tour this month into al-Jazeera area in order to draw the best plan for boosting it and filling developmental gaps, in an attempt to materialize a plan set to this effect at the highest level of the Syrian authority.
