Moussa to leave for Tunis on Friday
Arab League Secretary General Amr Moussa said Tuesday that he will leave for Tunis on Friday for a meeting with Tunisian President Zine Al-Abidine Bin Ali as part of a tour which will also take him to Rabat and Algiers.

A new Syrian experience in ITC4DEV
The Syrian Leadership has in recent years dedicated efforts to disseminate Information and communication technology and enabling having access to it by all members of the Syrian society. Within this context the Syrian government, in collaboration with the UN Development Program UNDP set a plan prioritizing the use of information and communications technology in social and economic development processes in the country. As a result of this commitment and joint venture initiative, the strategic program on the use of information and communication technology for social and economic development in Syria was launched. It is financed by the UNDP and carried out by the Syrian ministry of communications and Technology.

At least some 100 Somalis were missed in the Gulf of Aden
Some 100 persons were considered as missing in the waters of the Gulf during their attempt to reach Yemen last week from Pontland in the north of Somalia. Reasons behind this crisis are not known yet as no official statement was so far released by the Yemeni government.
