American army admits the killing of Arabia journalists

The American army in Baghdad yesterday admitted responsibility over the killing of two Iraqi journalists, who were working for the "Arabia" satellite TV channel on march 18.

A high ranking American military official said " we admit our responsibility " in the killing of two journalists by bullets. In a statement, the occupation authority also expressed its " regret over the indiscriminate fire shelling at al-Arabia journalists."

The Iraqi journalist Ali al-Khatib ( 32 year old) and photographer ( 36) were killed by bullets while they were covering news on an attack by anti- tank missiles at al-Hayat tower hotel in Baghdad.
