In a message addressed to the Arab summit, circulated on journalists, the organizers of the demonstration called for "filing a judicial case in the name of the Arab nation against the Israeli prime minister Ariel Sharon and the executors of Sheikh Yassin's assassination and planners of it to the International criminal court because the assassination operation is a war crime and an aggression against humanity." Thousands of Moroccans took the streets in the capital Rabat at the invitation of non- governmental organizations, political parties and civil society organizations.
