Iraqi governing council Jews have the right to demand back properties

Iraq's minister of housing and construction, Baqer Soulagh Jabber, said on Saturday that the cost to containing the problem of housing in Iraq ranges between 50 to 60 billion dollars in order to build 2 million residential units among the four coming years.
In an interview with the German news agency he stressed the right of all the people of Iraq including the right of Jews, according to the provisional constitution to restore back their property confiscated by former governments.
Jaber, one of the leadership of the "higher council of the Islamic revolution" chaired by Abdul Aziz al-Hakim said that the "Jews have the right to demand back their lands and assets." But he added he did not receive any request from any Jew in this context.
He continued that the governing council put on the top of its priorities re-settling the Palestinian refugees families which emigrated from Iraq after the war. But he demanded the evacuation of rule opposition forces in Syria, Iraq and Turkey which used to enjoy protection, under the former regime in Iraq.
