Cooperation with Ethiopia on Nile resources

"Egypt and Ethiopia are working closely to make optimum use of the Nile water resources for the welfare of the two nations,"an official source at the Ethiopian Ministry of Water Resources said wednesday.
Under the terms of the Nile Basin Initiative (NBI), the ministry is carrying out several hydro-electrical projects in Ethiopia, the source said.
The projects include the construction of dams and feasibility studies will be prepared for two scheme funded by the Norwegian government and the African Development Bank.
