Syria's Culture Minister Mahmoud Assayed on Wednesday received the Culture Minister at the Palestinian Authority Yahya Yakhlaf on the ties between the two sides and means of boosting them, particularly the issues related to confronting the policy adopted by Israel to erase the Palestinian identity.
Assayed stressed the ministry's willingness to offer every possible help for the Palestinians in confrontation of the Israeli occupation. Yakhlaf, for his part, talked about the difficult situation of culture in the occupied Palestinian territories under the Israeli occupation which hinders any progress in this field.
