Jordanian court to decide in the assassination of an American diplomat on Wednesday

The Jordanian state security court will make its decision in the case of the assassination of the American diplomat Lawrence Fulley today Wednesday.
Some other 11 persons are tried over being involved in the assassination attempt including four who are tried in their own presence while other 6 are tried in absentia.
According to the list of accusation, the court attorney general addressed two charges to persons accused in this case. They are conspiracy over carrying out terrorist acts that "resulted in the death of one human being, " and having an automatic weapons that is unlicensed and called for giving them hardest penalty.
The case file indicates that the convicted in the case the Jordanian Ahmad Fadeil Nazal al-Khaleylah, known as Abi Mus'ab al-Zarqawi suspected to be involved with al-Qaida organization was the one who planned for the operation and planned for implementing it, and he had also provided al-Qaida members with weapons he had smuggled from Iraq to be used in the operation.
Worthy mentioning that the assassination of the American diplomat took place on October 28, 2002 and the first person accused in it is the Libyan Saleb Saeed Bin Sweid.
Worthy mentioning that other six are tried in absentia over this case. They are the Palestinian Shaker Youssef al-Absi, the two Jordanians Mu'amar Youssef al-Jugheiber, Abu Musaan al-Zarqawi and the Syrians Muhammad Ahmad Tayoura, Ahmad Husein Hassoun who lives in Iraq and Muhammad Abdul Rahman al-Zaher.
It is assumed that al-Zarqawi is hiding in Iraq and American officials say he is a remarkable assistant for the leader of al-Qaida organization Osama Bin Laden. Recently, the US proposed reward in millions of dollars for the one who gives information leading to his arrest.
