In statements issued yesterday, the Saudi Arabia's defense minister prince Sultan Bin Abdul Aziz considered that there is no opportunity for holding elections for the Shoura council in future, but did not rule out the idea wholly, "if the Saudi people want that."

Syria signs regional project document on Human development and human rights in the Arab states
Chairman of the State Planning commission Abdullah al-Dardari and Rima Khalaf Hunaidi, Assistant secretary general and the director of the regional Bureau of Arab states at the United Nations Development program UNDP signed on March 22, 2004 at the State planning commission premises a regional project document under the title " Human Development and Human Rights in the Arab states region." This project is being undertaken jointly between the High Commissioner for Human rights ( OHCHR) and UNDP.

Five Israelis were stabbed in Jafa and Ramat Ghan
A source in the Israeli police said yesterday that two persons were slightly injured yesterday evening by a knife stabs inside a bus in Jafa city, near Tel Aviv by an attacker who is expected to be a Palestinian who was able to escape later. The source added that the investigators consider that this attack is linked to the assassination of the founder of the Hamas movement Sheikh Ahmad Yassin.
