Attajdid: fa8mily visit exchange must not go beyond humanitarian framework, official
Morocco-Algeria, Politics, 3/20/2004
The family visit exchange between the captives of Tindouf (southwestern Algeria) and their families in Morocco's southern provinces must not go beyond its humanitarian framework, said governor in charge of coordination with the MINURSO (French Acronym of UN Mission for Western Sahara), Hamid Chabar.
In an interview published Friday by the daily Attajdid, Chabar voiced hope that the Polisario separatists understand the humanitarian aspect of the operation stressing that they have been seeking to torpedo it. He said they did things intended to perturb the exchange at different levels.
