Moussa criticizes The Greater Middle East initiative

Secretary General of the Arab League Amr Moussa on Friday criticized the American project of the Greater Middle East, asserting that reform and desire to development is an Arab issue.
In an interview given to the London- Based al-Sharq al-Awsat, Moussa warned against dangers of the American project that aims at destroying the Arab League and eliminating the Arab nationality.
For his part, Former Secretary General of the AL, Issmat Abdul-Magid underlined that the foreign interference is rejected and the issue of realizing democracy in any country must be achieved in the way that agrees with its circumstances. In an interview with Tunisian newspaper al-Shorok issued today, Abdul-Maguid severely criticized the so-called the Greater Middle East project asserting that "this project is rejected by all states of the region." Head of the Political Sciences Department at al-Suez Canal University, Dr, Jamal Zahran underlined that this project aims at re-building the international order in a way that suits the US interests and keeping this situation for a one forthcoming century at least.
