Kenya's Rono, Morocco's Narhmouche win Casablanca Marathon

Kenya's John Rono and Morocco's Hafida Narhmouche won Sunday the 7th Casablanca marathon.
The Kenyan, who had come up second in 2003, won comfortably ahead of last year's winner, Benjamin Itok. Morocco's Jawad Balout followed.
In the women's race, Hafida Narhmouche came first, defending her 2003 title, followed by Ethiopia's Wossene Gebeyhu and co-citizen Majida Fares.
Casablanca will be hosting May 15th an international semi-marathon (21.97 km). The chief organizer will be Morocco's 10,000 m champ Ibrahim Boutayeb.
