Bin Yahya: Tunis is ready to hoist the Arab summit

The Tunisian foreign minister, al-Habib Bin Yahya, said that Tunis is ready to host the 16th Arab summit which will be held on march 29 and 30.

In statements quoted by the Tunisian news agency that since the statement which was issued in Tunisia following the meeting of the Tunisian President Zine al-Abidin Ben Ali with the secretary general of the Arab League Amr Moussa in which it was officially declared Tunisia's hosting of the summit, Tunis had started preparation for this important Arab gathering, at all levels.

The minister said that on March 22 a meeting for the representatives and senior officials will be made to prepare for the works of the summit and on March 23 Arab experts of finance and the economy will meet, while the Arab ministers of finance and economy will meet on March 24, in the course of the social and economic council in preparation for the economic plan.

Bin Yahya said that the Arab foreign ministers will meet on March 26 and 27 to prepare the Arab league council at the summit level and prepare all needed documents while March 28 will be the date for the arrival if the Arab leaders. The Tunisian Minister said that regarding preparation measures, Tunis " is ready to host the Arab summit."
