Egypt-USA, Politics, 3/16/2004
Egypt's Mufti Ali Jumaa on Monday announced Egypt's strong rejection of any proposals or external initiatives about reforms or modernization in the Middle East stressing these reforms should come from within the region's states.
During a meeting with a delegation of German Parliament chaired by the Head of Foreign Affairs Committee Volker Koch, Jumaa added that any project that is put in countries with values and traditions different from ours will not gain success.
