Vice President Khaddam confers with Iraqi al-Watan party delegation

Vice President Abdul-Halim Khaddam received on Sunday a delegation of the Iraqi al-Watan party chaired by its Secretary General Mishaan al-Jabouri.
Talks during the meeting dealt with Syria's stand by the Iraqi people, the Iraqi people ordeal, the importance of safeguarding the national unity for enabling the Iraqi people to restore sovereignty and independence. Khaddam also received Secretary General of the Iraqi Islamic Movement Jawad al-Khalesi.
