A Day of people's anger in the Golan tomorrow

Political, national and social activists in the occupied Syrian Golan heights have called for announcing a general strike in the villages of the Golan tomorrow ( Sunday).

This call comes following a series of Israeli attacks against the citizens of the Golan and the confiscation of large areas of their lands under the pretext that they are lands owned by what is called the "Land of Israel company." This company, however, confiscated lands estimated at thousands of agricultural dunnums owned by several Syrians who in recent weeks tried to restore back their lands and implant it with trees again.

In Masaada village the said company confiscated some 385 dunnums from the village's lands in a new step to confiscate the Syrian national rights in the Golan.

The political activists in the Golan called for issuing a national document named the " land document" proving the national, political and social principles of the people of the Golan heights to withstand the " Zionist project that provides for confiscating the Syrian occupied lands and using it as a colonialist settlements in the Golan to create new facts on the ground."

The University graduate association in the Golan called for gathering in front of the league's headquarters on Sunday at 9 a.m.
