Tunisian Newspaper criticizes US Greater Middle East initiative
Tunisia-USA, Politics, 3/13/2004

Tunisian al-Shorouk newspaper criticized the project of the Greater Middle East raised recently by the United States, asserting the necessity of foiling such schemes which aim at distorting the Arab identity.

In an article published on Friday, the newspaper asserted that reform shouldn't be imposed and it should meet the people's aspirations. It also called for rejecting the ready-made reform recipes coming from the outside.
