Washington calls on US citizens in Jordan to be cautious

The American embassy in Amman addressed a call through its website on the Internet to the US citizens in Jordan to be cautious. This followed information saying that what it had called terrorists are preparing to make attacks against hotels in the Kingdom.

But the call for caution did not include any information about hotels which will be vulnerable to the said presumed attacks, nor a certain date, neither information about the executors of the attacks.

The Jordanian press indicated in the mid of February that the authorities detained three persons affiliates to "terrorist group" that was preparing for attacks against American and Israeli targets in Jordan.

Another warning message was also shown at the same website on January 21 and called on the American citizens in Jordan to be cautious following a series of attacks that took place in past months in Saudi Arabia and Turkey.
