Three Lebanese students were wounded in clashes with the police
Three students supporters for the Christian opposition in Lebanon were wounded and other two arrested following clashes erupted between them and the security forces which banned them from demonstrating at the entrance of the "Yasu'eya" University in Beirut on Wednesday.

Casablanca stock market transactions soar by 133% in 2003
The volume of transactions conducted at the Casablanca stock market reached 53.7 billion DH (around US$ 6.03 billion) in 2003, which is a 133.5% increase, says the newsletter of the Moroccan national institute of juncture analysis.

A source close to Chad's army announced the killing of some 25 armed Algerians, members in the al-Salafeyah group for call and fighting, and four soldiers from Chad in fighting with Chad's army that started on Monday and ended Wednesday.
