Egypt-Russia trade exchange hits $ one billion

The Political Counselor of the Embassy of Russia, in Cairo said the two countries agreed in principle on a visit by President Hosni Mubarak to Russia soon.
The 5th Egyptian-Russian Joint Committee meetings were due in Autumn to activate economic cooperation, he added. Several measures were taken by both countries this year for upping trade exchange volume which rose to $ one billion, he said.
