Japanese Grant for Syrian for Deaf and Mute society

The Syrian Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, Mrs. Siham Dello, and the Japanese Ambassador in Damascus Azusa Haiachi on Wednesday signed an agreement of grants upon which the Japanese government is to grant assistance estimated at $ 218,674 for the Societies of Deaf and Mute in the Syrian governorates of Hama, Lattakia and Raqqa.
The aim of the grant is to rehabilitate and improve the education process and upgrading transport services of these kids in Syria. The grant will be used to buy special equipment to help kids understand education course in a better way.
The Minister and the Japanese Ambassador exchanged cordial speeches on this occasion. The Minister expressed gratitude for the friendly government of Japan for the assistance offered to support several humanitarian projects for children.
For his part, the Japanese Ambassador stressed importance of existing cooperation between Syria and Japan for the best benefit of the two peoples, expressing the hope that this assistance and others would be invested in the service of handicapped kids in Syria.
