Information minister confers with Iraqi delegation

Syria's Information Minister Ahmad al-Hasan on Wednesday received "the Peace and Solidarity Association Delegation between the Iraqi people and the world's peoples" chaired by Samir al-Ateyah.
The minister said Syria backs the Iraqi people to get rid of his ordeal, end the occupation, preserve its sovereignty and territorial integrity and select their free-elected government. The Iraqi delegation's members stressed commitment to strengthen the ties between Syrian and Iraqi people through cultural and educational exchange.
