Arab youth ministers council conclude meetings in Khartoum

The 27th session of the Arab Youth and Sports Ministers' Council concluded its deliberation on Tuesday at Khartoum.
The participants at the conference discussed issues related to sports and youth concern.
In a meeting with the Participants at the conference, Sudanese President Omar al-Basheer praised the distinguished relations among the Arab youth, asserting Sudan's keenness on developing these relations at this critical situation the Arab nation is passing through, particularly the situation in Palestine.
He called the Arabs for unifying their ranks in facing the standing challenges.
For their part, the participants at the conference briefed President al-Bashir on the outcomes of the conference, asserting the necessity for enhancing relations of cooperation among the Arab states in this regard. Talks during the meeting dealt with the latest developments on the Iraqi arena and with the UN role in helping Iraq to restore its sovereignty and stability.
