Government to announce new measures to control price hike

The government is planning to announce within days several measures to control prices hike in tandem with the directives of President Hosni Mubarak. Some strategic commodities will be added to the ration book including oil, macaroni, brown beans, lentil, tea, rice and margarine.
Additional quantities of the strategic commodities will be available at cooperative outlets for those carrying no ration book.
