Al-Sherif: Illiteracy, overpopulation high on Egypt's agenda

Egypt will focus in the coming juncture on curbing overpopulation and illiteracy, Secretary General of the National Democratic Party (NDP) and Minister of Information Safwat El- Sherif said on Monday.
Opening an exhibition for the elderly's products, Al-Sherif said the media would play a key role in literacy efforts.
