Al-Azhar Imam calls for withdrawal of foreign forces

Al-Azhar Grand Imam Sheikh Mohammad Sayed Tantawi stressed the importance of withdrawal of all foreign forces from Iraq so that the Iraqis would decide their own future.
During a meeting on Monday with delegates from the Iraqi Interim Governing Council (IGC), Iraqi tribes and the Islamic Party, Sheikh Tantawi said the Iraqi people would remain adamant to foreign intervention in their own affairs.
