Berri appreciated Syria's initiative on dismantling WMD

Speaker of the Lebanese House of Representatives ( parliament ) and Chairman of the Arab Federation of Parliaments Nabih Berri highly appreciated the Syrian initiative on turning the Middle East into a zone free of all mass destruction weapons (WMD).
Berri stressed importance of supporting Syria's stance in facing the threats directed against it, and necessity of sticking to the Palestinian legitimate rights. The Lebanese legislator was speaking in a meeting he chaired of Speakers and Representatives of Arab Parliaments participating in a conference of the Organization of the Islamic Countries (OIC) being held in Dakar, Senegal.
