Kuwait abrogates visas for 30 non- Arab nationalities
Kuwait, Local, 3/3/2004
the Kuwaiti government has cancelled prior entry visas to the country for more than 30 nationalities but included no Arab one.
The first deputy premier and minister of the interior Sheikh Nawaf al-Ahmad al-Sabah said that this decision comes at the directives if the prime minister Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmad in order to give more facilitation and support to the economy.
Sources at the ministry of the interior said that the new facilitation includes the citizens of each of the US, Canada, the Europeans, several countries from Latin America, Canada, News lands, Australia, China, Japan, Hong Kong, Southern Korea and Malaysia.
The sources considered that countries governed by cancellation of the visa are considered by Kuwait among the secure countries and that the decision came to facilitate the movement of entering departing the country and reactivating the economy.
Kuwait's air, land and sea openings started to receive arrivals from these nationalities and granting them immediate entry visas either for family, trade or media visits.
