Morocco, Russia to give new impetus to bilateral relations

Morocco and Russia have pledged to give a new impetus to bilateral relations, at the end of the first meeting of the two countries Joint Commission, in accordance with the "Declaration of the strategic Partnership" signed in October 2002 in Moscow by visiting King Mohammed VI and president Vladimir Putin.

Delegation from both countries led by Moroccan minister of foreign affairs and cooperation, Mohamed Benaissa and Russian justice minister Tchaika Youri Yakovlevitch, voiced satisfaction at the recommendations adopted at the end of this meeting saying they constitute " a genuine action plan for the next years."

They vowed to strengthen cooperation in all fields namely in agriculture, industry, fisheries, equipment, infrastructures, scientific research, vocational training, air and sea transports, energy and mines, health, finance and investment promotion.
