Mass grave to the east of Sidon

A mass grave including remains of eight persons was found in one well in Marah al-Hbas town in west Sidon yesterday and presumed that the persons where killed since more than 22 years, the time of the Israeli occupation of south Lebanon in 1982. The remains include skulls, bones, garments and cloths in addition to a plastic gear similar to that used by Israel in detention center and the forces that collaborated with it in the 1980s.

In testing two skulls it was found that their owners were executed by bullets in the head and from a nearby distance. The attorney general in south Lebanon is to continue investigations in the case.
